* OHAU BRANCH'S MEETING For some years the chief business conducted at the November meeting of the Ohau branch of fhe WQipen's Division of Federated Farmers has been the entert.aining of the Dr. Barnado Junior Lea'gue from the .local school. /is usual these young people were the Cjivision's guests for the afternoon. ^.fter collections had been taken, the children oxl their part entertaiped mPihbers with seyeral yocal items. They then had afternoon tea and returned to school. Arrangements were made for the display of the division 's two entries in the Horowhenua A. and P. show. Several letters of appreciation from recipients of food parcels were received. More gifts are to be forwarded this month. The competition for the best rose Was won by Mrs. Wall and that fpr the best flower by Mrs. S. C. Saint. The hostesses were Mes^ames Petersen, Filgrim, Rowland, ^unr., H. S- Saint, Small, Taplin §nd Urquhart, and Miss Trim.
