OTAKI MARCHING TEAM

MAYOR AND MAYORESS TO DECIDE UNIFORM A very well attended meeting of the newly-formed Parents' Committee of the Otaki girls' marching team. was held on Tuesday night, when further progress was reported. An offer of assistance from the Mayor and Mayoress, Mr. C. F. and Dr. Atmore, in the choice aird colour of the team's uniform, was very enthusiastically received and a sub-committee was agreed on to confer with them. It was decided to hold a shop day to provide funds for uniforms, and to ask the Otaki Band to assist with a display.
