Many residents of boroughs and counties apparently do not realise that they are entitled to a vote at the forthcoming elections by reason of their residential qualifications. If they are not on the borough or county electoral roll they are entitled to vote by' deelaration. Cars For Electors In view -of the appeal to conserve petrol, Mr. H. B. Burdekin has decided against providing a full car service to the polling booths on the occasion of the mayoral election tomorrow. In all cases where the elector is unable to attend a booth without transport, however, a ring to telephone 216 will bring a car at whatever time is desired. While regretting the necessity for this decision, Mr. Burdekin said today that he felt every possible opportunity should be taken to assist Britain in her crisis.
