PRE-WEDDING PARTY
A pre-wedding party was tendered Miss M. Podmore at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. E. Titcombe, Cook Street, Foxton, on Thursday evening. Hie evening took the form of a kitchen tea and Miss Podmore was the recipient oi a very comprehensive ** array of useful gifts for her future home. A very enjoyable social time was spent in games and competitions and all joined in extending their best wshes for future happiness to the bride-to-be. Miss Podmore suitably acknowledged the gifts and good wishes and thanked Mr. and Mrs. Titcombe for the evening. The wedding of. Miss Podmore and Mr. F. Tremewan, of Shannon, took place at Foxton on Saturdav.
