WELLINGTON, Nov. 6. " Every thing is going- well as far as we know, there has been no rush on resellers, and I understand that the demand has been a little less than norma!," said the secretary of the New Zealand Retail Motor Trade Association, Mr C. R. Edmonds, when commenting on the redueed supplies of petrol to resellers. "The suceess of the whole scheme depends on the decency of the motorist who has been asked to do his own cutting. We hope that he will continue to reduce his running and, 1 may say, in many cases I hope he will start," Mr Edmonjs said. The Oil Fuel Controller, Mr G. L. Laurenson, agreed that from all reports the scheme had begun well. There had been no exeeptioiial demands made on petrol resellers.
