SWING FROM LABOUR IN SCOTLAND
Received Wednesday, 11.25 p.m. LONDON, Nov. 5. A swing against Labour was revealed in the results of the Scottisn municipal elections yesterday. Early this morning, with not more than t> per cent. of the results still to come m, Lahour losses stood at 74 against 12 gains. Laboitr lost control oi ' Dundee," Paisley, Johnstone, Iioanhead, HainLton, Irvine, Annadale, Lerwick, Dumbarton and Bathgate. Labour captured control of I'alxirK and retained control of Aberdeen and Glasgow. In the latter city their overall majority was reduced to two. The Progressives (Conservatives) retained Ectinburgh.
