— 9> LONDON, Nov. 5. Mrs. Clara Grime, aged 72, and a great-grandmother, was granted a decree nisi in an undefended suit at Manchester yesterday, after travelling from Auckland. In support of her petiUon she produced • a eourt order for separation made against her husband in 1911 on the grounds of cruelty. Mrs. Grime afterwards told the Daily Express that when she left her husband in 1911, she got a job as a millgirl to support her family. Three sons emigrated to New Zealand and she t'ollowed with the three girls. One of her sons was now a farme'r, another a taxidriver and the third worked for the Auckland City Council. All the girls were happily married. "I told my children I thought it abont time I got my freedom and they clubbed togetlier to pay for my boliday to England and for the divorce court proceedings, " she said, "I feel happier now it is all over and I am free again. ' '
