"New 'Zealand postage stamps secui'ed first place, and four other places as well, in a recent competition held in London by a well-known stamp dealing firm, to select the 12 best post.age stamps issued since the war," said the Postmaster-General (Mr. Hackett) today. "This is a good indieation of the high standard of design and production," continued the Minister, "and the result is a credit to Mr. James ' Berry, of Wellington, who deaigned the stamps.
