land will he augmeutcd by Ihe ruuning of additioual expresses during the C'hristmas and New Your holidav pcriorj, said thc Minister of Railways,.Hon. K. Gemple, todav. He added that to enablc inteiiding passengers to make their acconunodation arrangemeuts as carJv as possible, it had been. decided to aecOpt as from November 10, applications for seat reservations on express and relief trains and for sleeping berths when applicable, up to one calfeirdar montii ahead of the travel date. The present arrangemeiit whereby two days 1 grace was allowed passengers applving at stations other than the seat allotting station, will continue. This extension or time for booking will apply to all travel" up to and including January 11 and for journevs to be made on January 12. Thereafter the reserving period will D,e rednced to 1 1 days.
