BRITISH COLONEL AND WIFE KILLED
Received Tuesdav, 1.12 a.m. LONDON, Xov. 8. Tribesmen attacked the convent at Baramula and killed Lieut.-Colonel O. G. Dykes, his wife and the assistant Mother Superior and wounded the Mother Superior, says Kenter's New Delhi correspondent. The three Dykes children who attended the convent, are rnissing. There is no news of another 2u Britains who were presumed holidaymg at Baramula vvhen the tribesmen attacked the town. The Daily AI :ii 1 correspondent says the Dykes motored from Srinagar to take the children from the convent which the tribesmen attacked soon after the Dykes arrived.
