WOMAN'S BODY FOUND IN OPEN DRAIN
CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 2. The body of Miaa Beatrix HannaJi Bowers, who had been missing for nearly three weeks, was found late this afternoon iii an open draiu near "the Papanui Teehnical College. The discovery was rnade by two boys. The body, which was fully elothed, appeared to' have been in the water for some time. According to the poliee there was no evidenee to suggest fonl play. Miss Bowers was reported missiug from her home in Papanui on Oetober 13.
