MASTERTON, Nov. 2. The Australasian championship jump at the Carterton Show was won by Viking owned by Mr. D. F. O'Oonnell, of Dunedin, and ridden by Miss Freda White, of Palmerston North. JMiss White was seeond with her own entry Harbour Bar and tliird with Kopere. The fourth horse was Blue Jaeket owned by Mr. R. S. Pilmer, of Masterton, and the lifth horse Tipperary owned by Mr. Trevor Tulley. There were 34 entries from both islands. Miss White, in addition to riding the first, second and third in that event, furnished the champion hack Kopere. The champion dairy cow was Madam Pearl, a-Friesian cow owned by Mr. M. J. Parker,-of Carterton.
