WELLINGTON, N'ov. 2. About 500 men gathered here on Saturday for the reunion of the Main Body of the First N.Z.E.F. They were headed by Major-General Sir Andrew Russell, who commanded the New Zea land Division from Gallipoli onwards. He flew from Hastings for the occasion. On Saturday afternoon the Main Body men assembled in Stout Street 40U strong under the names of their various ships: 'Arawa, Athenic, Orari, Ruapeliu, Waimana, Maunganui, Hawke's Bay, Star of India, Bimerick and Tahiti. Sir Andrew Russell, attended by Briga dier H. E. Avery, laid a wreath at tiie Cenotaph. Some 500 assembled for ttureunion dinner in the sports centre in the evening.
