TORNADO IN PHILIPPINES

Received Fridav, 9.55 p.m. .MANILA, Oct. .31. Cne vessel was lost and two others are in distress as the result of a typlioon which roared across Baniar Island and headed towards Manila Bav today. The fate of the 27 members of the crew and two passengers of the inter-island diip which sanlc in Batun Bay, Northern iMindanao, is not certain but it is believed they got ashore. Two other ships signalled that they are aground.
