BEER BOYCOTT ON WEST COAST MONTH OLD
GREYMOUTH, Oct. 31. Tonight the beer boycott on the West Coast has been in existence one montti with no sign of any further moves either by the licensed victuallers of the West Coast or Trades Council, towards a settlement. Although country hotels are suffering greatly in the exceptionally small turnovers, the position in Greymouth and Hokitika for the hotels is not so unsatisfactory due to a large number of workers not being covered by the unions which are supporting the boycott.
