Charged with exceeding the speed limit of 30 m.p.h. in a restricted ared, Hector Robert Daniels pleaded guilty and was convicted and fined £3 10s and 10s cests. Traffic Inspector M. Kehoe Hated that his attention had been attracted to the car as it passed through Oxford Street. He had followed it for approximately half a mile, and had noted tlie speed as oetween 45 vand 50 m.p.h. For having no driver's licence and failing to give way at an intsrzection, Edward Ross Taylor was nned 30s 011 the first charge and £2 on the second. Costs amounted to 30s 6d. ; Because he moved into the line of traffic before being 18 feet clear of the vehicle he had passed, A. B. Oliver paid a penalty of £1, with 10s costs. ' Ronald Vivian "Thompson pleaded guilty to a breach of a prohibiion order, and was convicted and nned £1, with 10s costs.
