JUNIOR CRICKET POSTPONED
SOME PITCHES UNFIT FOR PLAY Owing to the wet weather over the last few days some of the cricket pitches in Levin will not be fit for play tomorrow when the first games in the championship will cornmence. The pitch at the Levin Park Domain is not completed, and a temporary one will have to be rolled'before play commences tomorrow. For these reasons the junior competition games have been postponed until next Saturday. The following is the draw for the senior teams: College A v. Shannon, at College; Levin v. Foxton, at Foxton; Otaki v. Paraparaumu, at Paraparaumu; Weraroa yt Old Boys, at Levin Park Domain, • . Among the Levin teams taking part vull be the following: — Levin: P. Meddings, W. Galloway, K. Hudson, P. Jukes, R. Judd,1 iR. Weir, E. ThomaS, W. Gentry, W. j Walker, F. Veysey, F. Carrington, K. Touhy and Lambert. Players are i to be at the post office at 12.45
p.m. Old Boys: V. Lynch, Sciascia (2), J. Atkinson, D. Grifhths, P. Hannan, D. Clapcott, J. Lancaster, C. Walker, I. Juno, D. Gwynn and L. Turner. Players are to be on the domain at 12.30 p.m.
