GAMES ON OTAKI LINKS The Otaki Golf Club played a Canadian foursome on Saturday, and this resulted in a win for E. Gray and B. H. Rhodes. On Monday a fourball best boll against bogey was played for a trophy presented by Mr. I. Bertra n. The weather conditions were vevy bad, a cold soiitherly wind w:th driving rain causing most players to abandon the round at the ninth hole. Two fours carried the garne on to the eighteenth, and E. Gray ' and J. Cooksley were declared the winners with six up on bogey, Gray's round of 66 equalling the course record established a tcw weeks ago by J. Winterburn. Next Saturday will be closing day, and a mixed Canadian foursome over nine holes will be played, vilh the draw at 1.15 p.m. After afternoon tea and the preseni/atioi ef prizes, the men's long-driving cornpetition and the approach an:l pnU competition will be contested.
