SYDXEY, Oct. 29. Figures released by the. Commonwealth Htatistician indicate that many Hydney women will have to go to country districts to find husbands. Hydney 's population of 1,484,434 comprises 715,168 males and 769,266 females, which leaves a surplus or 54,098 females. Thirteen outlying and industriai suburbs have surpluses of males, but the total is more than wiped out by the- excess of females in North Hydnev alone. A similar tendency is observed in larger country centres.
