FOOD FOR BRITAIN
VERY FINE EFFORT BY TOLAGA BAY WELLINGTON, Oct. 22. A remarkable achievement in the sparseiy* pojmlated Tolaga Bay, in the Gisborne district, was a feature of last week's food coupon savings in the Aid for Britain eampaign. Tolaga Bay district, whose eentre is the settlement of the same name, with. a population of under 500, gave no fewer than 2800 butter coupons and 25,300 rneat coupons, nearly one-third of all the butter coupons colleeted in the Dominion and more than one-seventh of all the meat coupons.
