ANOTHER WOOL PRICE RECORD

INVERCARGILL, Oct. 22. A New Zealand record price of 34d for carpet cru-tchings, was established at the first wool sale of the season at Invercargill today when that price was paid for a bin lot of extra super crutchings offered b.y the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company. It is understood that most of the carpet crutchings purchased will go to America where this type of wool can be taken at a low rate of duty.
