TARIFF PREFERENCES

It is reliably learned in London that the delay in the announcement of the British-American agreement on tariff preferences is because the final details of tlie concessions between Australia and New Zealand and the United States are incomplete, says Reuter. The whole negotiation is regarded as a Commonwealth affair, requiring Commonwealth unanimity.
