PALM. NTH., Oct. 23. Sentence was pronounced by Mr. Justice Gresson in the Supreme Court today as follows: ■Spencer Cuthbert Toon, railwaymavi, Palmerston North, on four eharges of theft and eleven charges of receiving, two years' imprisonment on each of the theft charges, uhe terms to be concurrent, and convicted and discharged on the eharges of receiving. Frederick Charles Cleaver, jockey, Palmerston North, guilty of negligent driving, fined £25 with costs £12 19s and driving licence suspended and debarred from obtaining another for two years. Norman Leonard Findlay, contractor, Palmerston North, nine months' imprisonment on two charges of indecent assault on a male and one charge of an indecent act, the terms to be concurrent.
