BAND OF HOPE ORGANISES PARENTS' NIGHT

A most enjoyable evening was spent in the Weraroa Hall recently, the occasion being a parents' night organised by the Weraroa Band of Hope. Members acquitted themselves well in the rendering of the company song and chorus, followed by recitations, vocal solos and instrumental items. Games were enjoy;ed by young and old. A delightful supper, provided by the parents, was enjoyed after which thanks were extended to those who had given assistance. The attendance of both children and parents was most pleasing and ! encouraging to the leaders of the 1 movement, which is newly instituted.
