There aopeared to be some "sinister influejices" at wbrk to prevent the erection in Levin of the sanatorium and maternity home, said Mr. N. M. Thomson^ chairman of Mr. H. B. Burdekin's pre-election meeting 'in the Century HaU last night. can't see why the people don't rise in wrath in regard to both these ptojects. In the interests of all those who will be cared for, and perhaps cured, in the sanatorium, •ve should take steps to end these ibsurd delays and biekerings over that wonderful project."
