The determination of the Palmerston North Hospital Board to commence the building of the j^evin Maternity Hospital as soon as po^sibfe tvas reiterated by the boafdt in a letter received at last night's meeting of the Levin Borough Council. During the past month, the letter continued, the matter had again been under consideration and, by arrangement with the Minister of Mealtn, the board was expecting officers from tle Health Department to meet the board in the immediate future to diseuss the fuiure building programme. Every effort would be made to get the maternity homes in both Feildin" and Levin completed as soon as possible.
