At last night's meeting of' the Levin Borough , Council reference was made to Cr. H. E. Bowen's recent accident. The Mayor, Mr. H. B. Burdekin, said a message- had already been sent to Miss Bowen. The council passed . a motioh recording sympathy and regret at her accident. Mr. w. B. Bodell yesterday attended his last meeting of the Levin Rotary Club prior to leaving to reside in Palmerston North. Thepresident, Mr. D. P. Todd, said Mr. Bodell was one of the club's founddtion members, and hadshown keen enthusiasm for Rotary and its id-eals. He extended good» wishes to Mr. Bodell and his family for their future in Palmerston North. Acknowledging the sentiments, Mr. Bodell said he had greatly enjoyed his association with the club and the friendships it had brought him, and he lefir -Levin with regret.
