— ^ Messrs Townsend and Paul, Ltd., Wellington, repOrt that during the past week only limited supplies of all varieties of fruit have been coming to hand, with a strong demand for choice lines of tree tomatoes, passionfruit and hothouse tomatoes. fleavier supplies of grapefruit have been arriving, with the demand very much easier. In the vegetable section heavy supplies of all lines have been arriving, particularly cabbage and cauliflower, both these lines selling at very much reduced rates. However, there is a keen demand for green peas, new potatoes, asparagus and choice pumpkins. Heavier supplies of nowers have been arriving with values firm at late rates. Lighter yardings of poultry have cesulted in increased values on last week.
