WELLIXGTOX, Oct. 15. ITon. A. H. Nordmcyer, ansvering an urgent question by Mr. E. P. Aderman (New Plymouth) said the current clothing coupons and those in previous liooks do not expire 011 October 2(5 and the period they cover had been extendeil to Deceniber 31. Clothing coupons issued in New Zealand were on a more liberal scale than 111 other countries where rationing is imposed and all previous issues of clothing coupons are still valid. "The wliole question of clothing rationing is under investigation and a statement will be made before the end of the year in the light of the supply position as it then obtains and from an estimate of supplies which will be available in 1948," he added.
