Weekend Among The Trees
Following on the suggestion of the. proposed development ih thfe puip and paper industry by .thfe Government and other intefests in the North Island, the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Holland, and several of his parliamentary coileagues will spend the coming weekend in the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty districts on a visit of inspection of the activities of'Whakatane Paper Mills, Ltd., and the State forest areas and saWmilling operations. .The party will inspect the recently lestublished sawmill at Kaingaroa a'h'd the State's large timber areas in that locality as well as the State sawmill ahd boxmaking, factory at Waipa near Rotorua. The itihera'ry will include a visit to the Murupara locality mentiohed as a poSsiblb site for the proposed State pulp and paper mills,
