WELLINGTON, Oct. 8. A decision against the abolition of Saturday baking is the outcome o fa opstal ballot earried out among all bakers by the Dominion Federation of Bakers and Pastrycooks. The result of the ballot was announced at a special meeting this morning of the federation. The president of the Wellington Master Bakers' Association, Mr. H E. Fairey, Syiibmitted that as a result of the ballot any attempt by the Employees' Union to havt legislation brought in to abolish Saturday baking should be vigorjusly opposed. Other members considered that the carrying ou't of members' wishes be left to the council without a special resolution by the general meeting.
