SCENE OUTSIDE CAFE
CHARGE OF DRUNKENNE SS FOLLOWS A scene outside a cafe injDxford Street last night resulted in the arrest by the Levin Police, of John Doidge Boyer, farm hand, of Ohau. He was charged in the Magistrate's Court this- morning with being found drunk in a public place. Constable W. R. Gillespie said he arrested accused at 4.55 p.m. Sergeant W. , Grainger informed the court that B'oyer was involved in an' argument outside a cafe in Oxford Street, and had been in a drunken condition when arrested.He had been bailed last night for the sum of £1. Boyer was fined' £1 by Mr. D. J. Gardiner, J.P.
