YOUNG FARMERS' CLUB
. SUPRORT FOR GRASSES AT SHOW A pledge that the club, together with other clubs in the Horowhenua district, give full support to the Y.F.G. stock classes ' at the annual Horowhenua A. and P. show was made at the monthly meeting of the Levin Young Farmers' Club. It. Was suggested that the clubs give their wholehearted support to these classes instead of conducting thei'r oiVn stock show at a latqr date. A- deeisi'on was mad'e, however, to hold a stock judging field day as- was the case last year. At the conclusion of the business the chaifman, Mr. M^ . R'olston, introduced Mr. Cross, of Massey College; and members then adjourned- to> Mr. R. Young's premises,. where Mr. Cross demons'triated'' fully the technique of setting ploughs: and the functions of the various parts Mr. J. Roe thanked the speakef on behalf of the •members- for a most interesting lecture.
