CHOLERA ISOLATES 3,000,000

♦ Received Monday, 11.15 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 6. With 373 deaths now reported since September 4, the cholera has spread to Alia and Oakhalia province in the Nile delta, reports Reuter 's Cairo correspondent. Both are declared infected zones, This means that the entire eastern part of the delta from a point north of Cairo to Damietta, consisting ,of 3450 square miles, with populations of more than 3,000,000, are isolated from the rest of the world. Fifty Egyptian Air Force aircraft will spray Cairo and its populous , outlying districts with D.D.T. powder at dawn tomorrow to destroy the cholera-carrying flies. The spraying will last for two hours. The Ministry of Health has urged the public to remain indoors, but to leave their windows open to allow the insecticide to get into the houses.
