♦ SITE TO BE NEGOTIATED FOR At the meeting held last week in connection with Otaki's war piemorial it was reported that a very desirable site in Mill Road was to be negotiated for and plans for an inaugural effort were advanced a further step, a combination of talented articles from 2ZB under the direction of Mr. Maurice )Hawken having been secured for a gran'd concert on Wednesday, October 29. A further meeting, to which all organisations are asked to take monies raised to date, is set down for Tuesday, October 21. Meantime the Internal Affairs Department is to be asked to forward any plans it may have available of community centres.
