MOVE TO INCREASE PRICE OF BREAD
WELLINGTON, Oct. 6. It was stated today that a conference of bakers in connection with an application for an increase in the price of bread will be held in Wellington this week. The bakers' case- is that they will find it impossible for bread manufacturers to -continue without loss over the next twelve- months owing : to recent cost increases.
