PERSONAL
Rev. W. G. Slade, M.A., formerly minister. of St. John's Methodist Church, Levin, has received the honour of Doctor of Divinity, conferred by the Victoria University of Toronto.. Mr. Slade is president of the Methodist Church of New Zealand this year, and is at present visiting the United States for the Eucuinenical Conference.
