Hcavy Rainfall The heavy rainfall on Wednesday totalled over three-quarters or an Inch. Cycle Road Race • considerable interest is being taken in the cycle road race from Palmerston North to Wellington on Saturday, October 25. It will start in The Square, Palmerston North, at 9.30 a.m. sharp, and the route to Wellington will be via Paekakariki HUI, finishing at Jervois Quay. Besides many prizes there will be a trophy for the youngest rider to finish, a trophy valued at £5 for the first rider to Otaki, and a trophy valued at £20 for the first junior to the top of Paekakariki HUI. The last rider to finish will receive a trophy valued at £1. The Otaki A.A. and C. Club will do its best to help in the race. x
