The recent criticisin of conditions and treatuient in Xew Zealand, exjnessed by the Hev. Clough, is not supporled iti'any way by letters received in London from , many hundreds of British eniigrants who have recently gone lo the Dominion. To offset JJev. Clough 's critieism, which is a delinitely isolated case, both Xew Zealand House and the banks handling business for the eniigrants. have received many hundreds of letters thanking them for the arrangemenls made and expressing pleasure at their reception. The difficulties are not overlooked but are accept ed cheerfully.
