TIIURSDAY AND FRIDAY With one of the year's most amazing film characters as the central figure, "Republic's mystery drama, "Strapgers in the Night" opens at the Civic Theatre on Thursday. William Terry and Virginia Grey have the leading roles while Helen Thimig and Edith Barrett are featured in the screenplay of a woman possessed with an obsession so powerful it is the motivating force of her life and carried four bther people to the brink of tragedy. The second attraction is "Hold that Blonde," the stars being Eddie Bracken and Veronica Lake. It's the atomic bombshelL of laughter.
