PLUNKET SOCIETY'S ANNUAL APPEAL

The annuai house-to-hotise collection on behalf of the Levin Plunket Society will be conducted during the month of October, and residents are reminded that apart from a Government subsidy, the work of the Society is carried on solely by voluntary subscript'ion and an appeal for this is confined to one effort annually. The work of the Society needs no introduction to the residents of the town and this occasion offers an opportunity to recognise the Society's efforts in their care of the mothers and children.
