MAORI ARRESTED ON CHARGE OF MURDERING CHILD
MELLINGTON, Oct. 1. A Maori, Frederic Brass, aged eighteen, is reported by ihe police today to have been arrested in the Kaitaia district on a, charge of murdering the thiee-year-old Maori girl, Moana James, whose body was found on the bank of a stream at Ahipara Hill, thirteen miles north of Kaitaia, late on Monday night.
