INFANTILE PARALYSIS ON THE WANE
Received Tuesday, 7 p.m. LONDON, Sept. 29. The infantile paralvsis epidemic appears to be on the wane. The figures have shown a 'very slight increase during the past fortnight, and notifications in the London districts hax^e fallen considerably. During the week ended September 20, the last for which complete figures are available. 571 new cases were reported in England and Wales.
