AUCKLAND, Sept. 2(5. An unexpecte^l visit to Auckland was niiide by Viseount Addison. Secre tary of State for Commouwealth Itelutions and Leader of the llous.e oi Lords, when the Hythe flying boat in which he was travelling from Sydnev to Wellington, had to land here because of bad weather in Wellington. Viscount Addison said that he and his wife were delighted to be makiiig their first visit to New Zealand. It was an experience that they had botli looked forward to for a very long time. Although the diversion of the ti yi ng boat fronr Wellington had resulted in a long trip, they had been delighted with the views of the fertil'e green fields of the eountry aiul with the sigh; of Mt. Egniont as they flew over Taranaki. New Zealand, at (irst impression wtls eertainly as boautiful as they had been led'tn bolievo. |
