Besidents of Cowra were startled by two violent earth tremors which sltook the town and out lying districts. The tremors were felt witliin a 20 ntiles radius of Cowra. The director of the Riverview Observatorv, Sydney, said that the tremor recorded there indicated a slight setlliug of the earth '3 cruat.
