HEALTH STAMP CAMPAIGN
LEVIN AREA?S QUOTA IS S266 ' The 1047 health stamp campaign will open on Monday next, September 29, and the Levin district, which includes Koputaroa and Waitarere Beach, has this year been given a quqta of £266 7s 3d. This year it is hoped to eclipse all previous efforts" * as recognition of the wonderful work being done by the health eamp moveihent and the splendid results being obtained. •The postmaster at Levin, Mr. L. A. Whitham, said yesterday that the Mayor, Mr. H. B. Burdekin, had approached the Levin Junior Chamber qf Commerce and its members had agreefi to jcanvass local busipessmen for their support by - usihg health stamps wherever possible. The Mayoress, Mrs. Burdekin, will arrange with various organisations to sell stamps at a booth outside the post -office, said Mr. Whitham, while he had undertaken to contact residents outside the borough fqr their asslstance.
