LIMIT FIXED TO SIZE OF BANQUETS
LONDON, Sept. 11. Tbe Ministry of Food has restrlcted the size and numher of banquets and similar functions during the period of stringency. Banqqets after September 14 must he restricted to 100 persons. Licences for banquets will he issued having- regard to the proportion of overseas visitors present and the promotion of export trade and international relations. - Large social . functiohs lacking a definite public advantage will not be permitted. until the food situation has eased.
