The friends of Mrs. R. Gallagher, of Levin, will be pleased to learn that she is now improving in health. Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Lett, of Salisbury Street, Levin, returned home this week after a holiday in Auckland. Mrs. Lett is acting as judgq of the decorative section of the Tokomarit flower show today. The two candidates from the Levin branch of the Theatrical Academy, Fleure Haley and Mar-ie Torstan, were both successful in passing their recent Royal Academy dancing examinations with high marks. The examiner was Miss Loraine Norton, of Australia. Rqv. J. C. Davies, vicar of St. Mary's Anglican Church, Levin, ovei* a long period of years and now of St. James' Church, Lower Hutt, is at present visiting Levin wiih .drs. Davies. Mr. Davies will conduct all services at St. Mary's" tpmorrow and with Mrs. Davies will attend a soeial in St. Mary's Hail on Monday evening.
