COUNTY COUNCIL ELECTIONS The manner in which county electors vofed was criticised at the monthiy ' meeting of the HorpWhenug Copnty Council yesterday by the chaii-man, Mr. A. J. Gimblett after the council "had elected him and' Crs. W. G. Taylor and A. M. Colquhoun as delegdtes to tbe Ward 4 conference of county couppils, to be held in Palmerston North on Tbursday, September 18. "Mr. Gimblett said he was di^safisfied with the manner in which county electors were qjlftwed tP vote. Under the existixig' laws an elector could, v;here he was givpn a choice of cabdidates, strike out all but one name, and that vote would bp valid.
