Sir,^-On receipt and observation lately of my rate notice it • had appreciated by nearly 20 per cent. I was sure that if there was one thing wanted • more than a sewer- , age system in Levin, it was' a ratepayers' assoeiation. And now your today's issue contains notice of an imminent by-law to be fxnarfsed1 on Mo'nday next, making provlsion for the gas: eonsuiuer to pay for services up to- his- boundary from the ruato- * A revolutionary s-tep- indeed, , and one about which ratepayers ! shouid have heard more and been ; given more tirne to- di'gest. j In my view, therefore, another I exeellent reason for the formation. ; of a ratepayers' assoeiati'on.
